Get your festive season off to a fantastic start, with fantastically dressed ladies and suavely suited men, with the clink of champagne glasses that will be part of The Legacy Gala at the 5 star Chelsea Harbour on December 9th 2017.
Put simply, The Legacy Gala is the premier end of year celebration for professionals of colour and their colleagues in the UK. We promise you a night of infectious laughter, sweet and soulful music, mouth-watering food, multiple photo opportunities and great networking. It is an unrivalled opportunity to extend your professional and social network ahead of the New Year, and to make new connections with others from across the commercial, public and not for profit sectors.
Professionals from across the country are purchasing their Legacy tickets, booking their hotel rooms, and making their travel plans months in advance, just to ensure they are in London on December 9th for this glitzy end of year event – because they deserve it.
The Legacy Gala was created in partnership by Blaksox, the Society of Black Lawyers, Operation Black Vote, A Few Good Men and BARAC, and is actively supported by the majority of black professional membership organisations in the UK. It is our way of saying “thank you” to all the hardworking black professionals who serve our community tirelessly.
It is also an opportunity for professionals to come together to honour those who have given a life-time of service to keeping us safe, healthy, housed, educated, informed, entertained, and striving for economic success.
This platinum standard event is called ‘Legacy’ because the creators also wanted to highlight and celebrate the importance of building economic foundations and models of excellence that inspire the next generation. They wanted an opportunity to celebrate the wealth of opportunity and ability that exists within our community.
The Life Time Legacy Award is one of the unique highlights of the event. Individuals nominated by their peers, because they have used their career not just for personal progression, but have also sacrificed much, in order to prepare the ground for others to follow.
They will be honoured with this prestigious award on the night. The names of the award panel judges will be announced on September 30th, along with details for nominations.
Join us and the hundreds of other exceptional performers on December 9th for a night of celebration, fun and laughter, in the company of others who want to continue succeeding and contributing to our community.
Profit from the event will support the important work of Blaksox, The Society of Black Lawyers, BARAC and nominated community organisations like the Crib.
